How a series runs

Rock paper scissors here is a best-of-three against a real player, staked on Team Fortress 2 items or coins. Both players' moves are locked in before either is revealed, so there is no way to react to what your opponent picked. Drawn rounds are replayed and do not count, so a series always resolves on decided rounds.

Winning the series takes both stakes. There is nothing to manage between rounds — the stake is set once when the game is created.

The pick timer

You have roughly 15 seconds to choose each round. If the timer runs out a move is drawn for you, which keeps a series from stalling when somebody walks away mid-game. That drawn move is settled exactly like a chosen one.

Items or coins

Games can be staked with items from your inventory or straight from your coin balance. Coin games settle entirely on the site with no Steam trade offer involved, so they finish in seconds; item games take as long as Steam takes to move the items.

Fairness

Both moves are committed before either is shown, and the result of every completed series can be checked afterwards through the same provably fair record every other mode on the site uses.
